Rajendri's twenty-fifth year changed him forever. One day, his fifteen year old sister, Sasha, was playing adventurer in a cave with her lifelong friend, Natelie, when tragedy struck. Rajendri was near the cave when he heard the screams and came upon a scene of true horror. His sister's friend had accidently fell back into a pile of rotting wood and one piece had pierced her lung. Rajendri tried to calm them both down and told them everything would be alright. Instead of running for help, figuring it would be too far, Rajendri tried to stabilize Natelie himself. After all, he was the son of a cleric of the Caregiver and thought he knew what he was doing.

With Sasha screaming and crying, Rajendri watched in disbelief when his little sister's friend slowly died in his arms. Sasha started hitting him with the wooden planks laying around and all the while crying out how much she hated him for letting her die. She vowed she would always hate him for the rest of her days. The only thing Rajendri could do is just bend forward to protect her friend while his sister beat him in the dark cave. Her anger seemed to subside, but then she started up again knocking him hard in the side of the head.

Rajendri awoke in his bed two days later covered in bruises and his younger sister, Sasha, was nowhere to be found. The clergy investigated the death of Sasha's friend, Natelie, and found no wrong doing by Rajendri. If he would've tried to move her, she would've died a quicker more painful death. Although the clergy didn't find any wrong doing, Rajendri blamed himself for Natelie's death for many years after the incident and still does. After he recovered, Rajendri Jorasco became a devout follower of The Caregiver and truly learned what it meant to heal someone, correctly.

To this day, Rajendri takes great pride in his growing talent in the healing arts and has taken the road south to find adventure. Or so he told his family and his mother, but he really wanted to get away from the memory of Natelie's death and the guilt he felt for his sister running away. It was over ten years ago when Rajendri looked upon a most gruesome sight in that dark cave, but in the last few days he had witnessed more death and brutality than he had in his whole life.

Rajendri was hired as a healer and guard for a caravan traveling from Trollglen and Bluepoint in the Empire of Arch. The caravan was attacked by goblins killing most and injuring everyone. The injured few made it to the saftey of Bluepoint, but what could he do for those who were going to die from the attack? He remembered something his mother always said, "Heal the mind and the body will follow. Rajendri, feed the sick and their minds will heal. And for those beyond hope, wish that goodness will envelop them and The Caregiver will ease their pain."

So, Rajendri continues his daily routine of re-bandaging, comforting, and feeding those injured in the caraven from Trollglen. He's decided to find those who ventured south into the lands of the goblins and join up with them. He wants to make a difference somewhere in this world and allows his need to make up for Natelie's death guide him. All the healing in the world couldn't make up for his mistake and the loss of his sister, but he will try ... by every wound he heals and every life he saves, he will try.
